The Culture Club

Public Sales

Tickets go on sale to the general public from 9am on Wednesday 28 March. 


Early Bird Sales

Book early and save! Reduced Early Bird ticket pricing is available for some of our international headline shows, but only until 30 April 2018.

 

Booking Tickets for Events at the Opera House:

Online

Either follow the event listing's BOOK TICKETS link on this website, or book via Ticketmaster.co.nz.

A Ticketek service fee of $5.00 will be charged per transaction. For purchases made by credit card, debit card or gift card payment a processing fee of no more than 2.3% will also apply.


By Phone

Call 0800 111 999 to book by phone with your credit card.

A Ticketmaster service fee of $11.00 will be charged per transaction. For purchases made by credit card, debit card or gift card a processing fee of no more than 2.3% will also apply.


In Person

Over the counter at any Ticketmaster outlet nationwide. Find your closest Ticketmaster outlet.

A Ticketmaster service fee of $2.00 per ticket applies to purchases made in person.  For purchases made by credit card a processing fee of no more than 2.3% will also apply.


On the Door

For ticketed events, tickets can be purchased on the door at the venue two hours prior to the show. Strictly subject to availability.  A Ticketmaster service fee of $2.00 per ticket applies to purchases made in person.  For purchases made by credit card a processing fee of no more than 2.3% will also apply.

 

Wheelchair or Special Request Seating

It is essential that you advise us at time of booking if you have any special seating requirements, including wheelchair, companion seating or particular seating requests. At the Opera House there is an allocated wheelchair area but availability is limited. Limited free companion seating is reserved for audience members who cannot physically attend by themselves and need the help of a carer. If you have a particular seating request, please phone through your booking and discuss your requirements with a Ticketmaster customer service representative.

For Ticketed Events at other Wellington venues:

The full Festival line-up of 100 gigs in five days in announced on 18 April. For ticketed events, either follow the event listing's 'BOOK TICKETS' links on this website, or contact the venue directly. Tickets are subject to availability, and ticket prices and booking fees are at the individual venue's discretion.

  

For Free Events:

Free events are first-come first-served, we recommend you arrive in good time.

 

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • All ticket prices listed on this site are exclusive of ticket booking fees.
  • Tickets are not transferable and there are no refunds or exchanges permitted, except as required under New Zealand consumer law.
  • Tickets are subject to availability and sold on a 'best available' basis at the time of booking.
  • The Festival reserves the right to alter without notice any events, prices, programmes and artists.
  • The Festival reserves the right to exclude latecomers or to admit at a suitable point in the performance.
  • Photography and filming is prohibited without prior agreement from the Wellington Jazz Festival.
  • Ticket buyers and attendees agree to be photographed as members of the audience.
  • If a show is cancelled you will be refunded your ticket price (excluding the Ticketmaster service fee).
  • Any claims on refunds for cancelled shows must be done prior to 10 June 2018, via Ticketmaster in writing to customer.help@ticketmaster.co.nz.
